Section 156 of the Doctrine and Covenants provided for the ordination of women in Community of Christ. What did it take to get the church to a place of accepting the ordination of women? Join Brittany as she interviews Beck Savage, former First Presidency member, in a two part episode on her Seminary thesis, “A Journey Toward Ordination”. In part one, Becky leads us into the history and activism of women in Community of Christ leading up to the revelation in 1984.
