It is so easy to be critical and repenting about the past (that is over) and to not be critical about the present. Chvala-Smith and Mackay, acting as official theologian and historian for the CofC show how much this institution is US-centric despite its claim to be worlwide and progressive. They do also bring the Good Word to Europe, Africa and French Polynesia, as if those parts of the World didn’t have theologians and historians yet. And the host who is a World Church Minister and missionary can only communicate in English.
