Located in the heart of Council Bluffs, IA, the Community of Christ Caring Ministries Thrift Store and Food Pantry has been serving the people of the community since the ‘70s, and there’s no end in sight. Between 2 and 3 thousand families a year are served by this incredible ministry. Join host Carla Long, as she sits down with the Caring Ministries Executive Director, Ken Juel, to hear how lives are being changed because of the generosity of donors and the hard work of the staff and volunteers. Lots of things in life change, but the fact that there are always those who will benefit from ministries like this is not likely to change any time soon.
