598 | What’s Brewing | Portland Congregation

Engaging in mission looks different in every community. It can be experienced through simple acts of service, but it can also be a huge undertaking. Some mission opportunities arise spontaneously, and some take a long time to get up and going.  But, once the momentum starts to build and partnerships are formed … amazing things can happen.  Such is the case with the missional ministry happening in and around the Portland Community of Christ.  Join host, Carla Long, for a very exciting conversation with a group of folks who have endured the long process of building something new … partnering with Family Promise and a number of denominations from around the Portland area. If you’re not excited about mission after listening to this incredible group of people, you may want to check for a pulse.
